Accommodation services

Stanley College London can direct you to some reputable agents in order to help you find accommodation. Alternatively, providing you give our admissions department 2/3 weeks notice, we can arrange accommodation for you for a small administration fee.

There is a search fee of £100 for finding the accommodation.

Room Only
You have the option of having your own room and access to either the family kitchen or you will share one with other students in the house. You will be able to prepare your own meals or eat out. In some cases cooking facilities will be in your room. You are likely to meet members of the family but there will be no guarantee that they will be able to spend time with you and this option suits those who want to be more independent. You can choose from a single room, double room, twin room, or an apartment with up to 6 individual rooms.

Studio Flat
The studio apartments are ideal for students who prefer to be independent during their time in London. These are attractively designed studios suitable for short stays. It will have space to study and ample storage space. The studios vary in size and facilities but all are well equipped. Most have their own bathroom and kitchenette.

Hostels
If you prefer to be in a crowd and meet other students these are an excellent choice, and again are centrally located. The hostels do not offer the kind of service you would find in a hotel. All toilets and showers are shared.

Host Family
London is a cosmopolitan city with many different types of people from many different backgrounds, and this is reflected in our home stays. What they all have in common is enthusiasm for welcoming foreign students into their homes. Students are treated as any other member of the hosts’ homes and are expected to fit in with the everyday life of the family. An important part of the home stay experience is discovering a different culture and way-of-life. Students will generally eat their meals with their hosts and spend varying amounts of free time with them. Living with English hosts is a good way to practice your English and learn about life-styles and culture. A host family does not always consist of 2 parents and children. A couple or widows, for example, whose children have grown up and left home often, make excellent hosts. Kind hosts in convenient locations provide good homes and food.

Please call or email us well in advance to find out prices and to arrange your accommodation as per your requirement.
